FL SAND Monthly Self-Advocacy Call

FL SAND leaders and Fellows are on Zoom the first Monday of each month to give self-advocates the opportunity to share their questions, thoughts, and experiences related to disability advocacy in the Sunshine State.

Hosted by the FL SAND Fellows, the monthly call started during the COVID 19 pandemic to provide support and encouragement. Today, the call is a place to meet and share information on a variety of topics related to disability advocacy. Fellows are not experts but as advocates have become knowledgeable about who has the answers to common questions. Calls are typically postponed one week when major holidays fall on or are close to the first Monday.
